We are very excited to announce that The Monterey Bay Aquarium has chosen four of Efren’s otter pictures to use in their newly remodeled Sea Otter Exhibit. Three are used in educational bezel graphics beside the viewing windows, while another is displayed on a rotating video monitor as well as in an educational slide show in their auditorium. A very special thank you to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and all they do to help the Endangered Sea Otters through out the central coast.
We specialize in wildlife photography, specifically from the Monterey Bay area, with a focus on local wetland habitats, education and awareness.
A percentage of your purchase will be returned to the Watsonville Wetland Watch, a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting, restoring, and fostering appreciation of the Wetlands of the Pajaro Valley in Santa Cruz County, California.
Over 90% of the major wetlands have disappeared from California within the past 150 years. Located in the pacific flyway, the slough system in Watsonville is one of only three remaining large bodies of freshwater wetlands remaining in California.
We hope our photos convey that beauty, while fostering an interest in preservation.
